Production Planner / Inventory Manager
Location: Bellingham, WA
Full time (40hrs/wk)
Standard work schedule is Monday-Friday (9am - 5pm), but open to flexible scheduling (e.g. 4 10's on occasion)

Job Summary:

This position is crucial to meeting our deadlines and managing stock of our materials. You would be responsible for scheduling out the production floor, effectively communicating goals and deadlines to other team members, tracking inventory and ordering materials, and assisting with production if needed. This position is for someone who is not only a highly organized and motivated individual with strong analytic skills, but who also exhibits effective prioritization of our procedures to ultimately improve our processes.

Essential Duties:

  • Scheduling our production line. This includes gaining a complete understanding of our procedures, planning out our production line to meet future deadlines, assembling a weekly plan and distributing it to our team, and identifying areas where processes could be improved as well as identifying the necessary steps to reach each target.
  • Tracking and managing inventory. This includes utilizing our inventory software, ERPAG management systems, to track inventory, assist in ordering materials, prioritizing work orders, and immediately bringing shortages/unusual activity to our attention.
  • Assistance on the production floor would be required from time to time if there are not enough hands available. As a small business, it is important to us that we can all work cohesively and help out when needed. Additional hours may be required from this position if deadlines are not being met.


  • Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Experience using an inventory program
  • Manufacturing experience with a planning/scheduling element
  • Ability to read/write in English
  • Effective communication skills (talking and listening), strong analytical and problem solving skills, and high motivation with an ability to multitask
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment where you will stand, lift, stretch, pull, push, carry, stoop, and walk.
